    Hi,
I’m currently trying to use kinova-ros package for MICO.
So I cloned the package from git and tried launching but It gives me an error
([ERROR] [1474375810.121988789]: KinovaCommException: Could not initialize Kinova API (return code: 1015))
This seems a known-issue so that I could find at the bottom of github readme. It says VirtualBox causes 1015 but I don’t use VM.
    kindda lost.. 🙁

Could it be related to Ubuntu/ROS versions?
I’ve tried in 16.04 with Kinetic and 14.04 with Indigo – both gave the same error.

    Any guesses? Please help me!

    Regards, Sun

    Hi Sun,

My name is Sid, I will be helping you with this issue.

For starter, can you please give me the full launch command you used and the full output of the launch command? We will go from there.

    Thanks,
    Sid
